Your Car and the MOT
According to UK legislation, all vehicles aged 3 years or over must undergo an annual MOT Test. The MOT Test includes a range of checks to make sure that every aspect of your car meets the required standards.
Tyres: Should have a minimum tread depth of 1.6mm across the centre three quarters of tread.
Lights: Should be clean and fully working. Common failure points include parking lights and number plate lights, which are often overlooked, and easily repaired.
Windscreen wipers and washers: Should all be functioning correctly.

Perform the SMMT 2 Minute Check before bringing your vehicle to DD Autoserve Ltd for it’s MOT and you may save yourself time and Money.
When you book your MOT with DD Autoserve Ltd we will automatically set a reminder to be sent to you in around a years time to remind you that it is time to bring your car to see us again for it’s MOT.
These reminders can be sent by either text message or by email, so don’t forget to let us have these pieces of important information.
